AFTER THE GENERAL MEETING ON 14/11/10

AT THE GENERAL MEETING ON 14/11/2010 AT DUMDUM THE FOLLOWING DECISION WERE TAKEN  BY THE HOUSE:
1. A CONGREGATION AND A GENERAL MEETING WILL BE HELD AT THE ' BIKASH BHAWAN' AROUND THE FIRST HALF OF THE NEXT WEEK(22-25 TH NOV) 
2.EFFORTS TO ARRANGE A MEETING WITH THE HON'BLE MINISTER., HIGHER EDUCATION MINISTRY, ON THE DATE OF THE MEETING AT 'BIKASH BHAWAN', WILL BE TAKEN. 
3.A TEAM OF REPRESENTATIVE WILL MEET THE SECRETARY, WBCUTA AND SECRETARY, ALL BENGAL PRINCIPALS' COUNCIL WITHIN THIS WEEK

SO, ALL FULL TIME CONTRACTUAL LECTURES ARE REQUESTED TO ATTEND THE MEETING AT BIKASH BHAWAN .
THE SPECIFIC DATE AND TIME WILL BE POSTED LATER IN THE BLOG

NEXT MEETING ON 14TH NOVENBER

AN URGENT MEETING OF THE FULL TIME CONTRACTUAL LECTURERS HAVE BEEN CALLED ON 14TH NOVEMBER, SUNDAY, AT SETHBAGAN ADARSHA BIDYAMANDIR FOR BOYS, 3 NO SETHBAGAN ROAD,(NEAR KALIMANDIR) DUMDUM, KOLKATA-30. TO DISCUSS ABOUT THE GO AND THE FUTURE COURSE OF ACTION.

ALL THE FULL TIME CONTRACTUAL LECTURERS OF WEST BENGAL ARE EARNESTLY REQUESTED TO ATTEND THE SAID MEETING.

MORE UPDATES AFTER VISITING BIKASH BHAWAN ON 11TH NOVEMBER

Representatives  of FTCL visited Bikash Bhawan on 11th November. They learnt from the officials of the Higher Education Minister that the GO is at the last stages of preparations and will be published as soon as possible. The officials also referred to the advertisement( please see the last post) confirming that the govt. will now not relent from releasing the GO.

Even it was learnt by our representatives from the Jt. Secretary DPI that the GO will positively be published by the govt within November and that this message has already been circulated to the concerned authorities.

LATEST UPDATES REGARDING G.O

From 8th  October to 11th November representatives of the full time contractual lecturers of the different colleges of West Bengal have met several times  with Mr. Tarun Kumar Patra to receive the assurance that the govt. order regarding their service condition would be published very soon.

On 26th October the Govt.of Westbengal published an advertisement in all the leading dailies of westbengal where they stated unambiguously that the G.O of the FTCLs are under"active consideration". We would like to see this as a serious development as this is the first time the govt. has responded to our demands for a govt. order recognizing our service and assuring us job security in print.  Moreover , this also bears testimony to the Govt's positive intentions about fulfilling our demands.

After meeting HE minister

Honorable HE minister said that "The condition of  contractual full time teachers is under active consideration of  WB govt  " dated on 4.10.10.
The Honorable finance minister  of WB announced that as early as possible a govt. order will be published about contractual full time teacher on 8.10.10.
The secretary of WBCUTA Prof. Tarun Patra and secretary of Principal Council Dr. Anjan Sengupta assure that as early as possible a govt. order is coming out about   contractual full time teacher on 8.10.10.

Meet Hon'ble Higher Education Minister at Bikhas Vaban on 4th Oct 2010

1. A four member team represents to meet hon'ble Higher Education Minister at Bikhas Vaban on 4th oct 2010 at 4 p.m as per prior appointment to discuss issues relating to security of service and pay fixation.

 

2. All full time Contractual Lecturers of West Bengal are requested to be present at the main entrance of Bikhas Vaban by 2:30 p.m on 4th oct 2010 for peaceful gathering.
