Attention!!!!!!!

On the basis of previous conversation with Higher Education Minister on 14th June, a letter, explaining the problems which CWTTs are encountering even after modification of G.O( G.O No-412-Edn(CS)/10M-31/10(Pt),dated 3rd June,2011),has been submitted on 7th July to Honorable Higher Education Minister for his kind consideration. Those problems are also discussed with Jt.Secretary,Higher Education Department
The content of the letter is following:

To,                                                                                              Dated: 7.07.2011
The Honorable Minister-In-Charge,
Ministry Of Higher Education,
Govt. Of West Bengal,
Bikash Bhavan,
Salt Lake, Kolkata-91

                      Ref: G.O No.412-Edn(CS)/10M-31/10(Pt.) dated,Kolkata,3rd June
                              2011.

Sub: Prayer for some indispensable inclusion in the Modification
                              Order regarding engagement of C.W.T.T.s.

Respected Sir,
Let us be apologized for intrusion upon your valuable time for requesting your kind self to peruse the following prayer and consider the same favorably so that a considerable number of C.W.T.T.s, already in service, may get rid of the inconveniences facing them if aforesaid inclusions are made in the amendment order referred to above –
1)    The clause of advertisement in a leading newspaper alone exclusively for C.W.T.T.s brings a critical situation to some teachers, already in service, appointed duly by the G.B. of the college concerned on the basis of the advertisement given on the college notice board or university notice board. Hence the clause may please be amended by including the validity of the appointment duly made by the G.B. of the college concerned on the basis of the advertisement given on the college notice board or university notice board to accommodate the teachers concerned facing crisis due to the said clause.
2)    The clause i.e., no conversion of P.T.T. to C.W.T.T. may kindly be reconsidered for the sake of some teachers already in service duly appointed by G.B. of the college. In some cases advertisement was given in the newspaper for part-time teachers but at the time of interview the candidate was appointed by the G.B. as C.W.T.T. which the G.B. did it for their urgent need. In some other cases college authority perusing the Govt. norms converted some part-time teachers to C.W.T.T. for meeting the immediate need of the college and it was done long before the issue of the present G.O. Hence these cases of conversion may please be included in the regular C.W.T.T. category and be exempted from modified G.O.
3)    The clause concerning minimum marks (55% marks in aggregate for general category and 50% marks for S.C./S.T. candidates) for the post 1.4.2009  appointee also is fervently requested to be reconsidered as there are cases of the college in the remote area where appointment is duly made by the college authority below 55% marks even after 1.4.2009 due to non availability of the candidate. Hence our prayer is to consider their case in the reconsidered G.O. to accommodate them accordingly thus facilitating the work of rural college in the backward area.
4)    The question of validity of the appointment of some teachers, who joined their duties after the lapse of certain months of the publication of advertisement, has arisen. Hence validity of this type of appointment and joining may please be accepted considering their service given to the college concerned.
5)    With reference to the G.O. no. 689-Edn(CS) dated 26th August, 2010, our prayer is to accept the said date as the last valid date for all appointments of C.W.T.T.s made duly by the college authorities.

Hoping to be favored with your kind and immediate consideration.
               With regards.
                                                                                                Yours sincerely
